We warmly welcome garden clubs, botanical societies, cultural circles, and more exotic groups to Smissenbroek.

To ensure the highest quality experience, all group visits (minimum 10 people and maximum 25) must be booked in advance.

A guided tour costs 400 € regardless of the size of the group. Tours can be done in English, French or Dutch.

Join Isabelle for a 90-minute guided tour through the vegetable and flower gardens, around the lake and into the 200-year-old forest. Discover how agroecological practices enhance biodiversity and restore soil health, explore rare botanical treasures and, when in season, taste surprising edible plants straight from the garden.

Catering & Estate Shop

• The Orangery & Terrace: A welcoming space serving welcome coffees, lunches, and afternoon teas made from organic, local produce. Private catering for groups up to 80 people is available by arrangement.

• The Smissenbroek Shop: Take home our estate-harvested honey, Smissenbroek infusions, organic juices, seeds, hot sauce, jams and more.

Accessibility and weather

• Accessibility: The main avenues, lower grounds, and the Orangery are accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with reduced mobility (compacted gravel and lawn paths). Accessible restrooms are available.

• Recommended Attire: Smissenbroek is an authentic, living country estate; comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing are strongly advised.
