We collect seeds from our strongest plants at the very end of each flowering season. Year after year, selecting seed from plants that thrive in our particular soil and climate helps build locally adapted, increasingly resilient populations. Many of our varieties have been grown and selected at Smissenbroek for six years.
By selling and sharing these seeds, we help keep this diversity alive and growing far beyond our garden.
